Meet the Architect

Brint Riggs has building design and construction in his blood. Both of his paternal grandparents were architects, and his earliest memories involve sketching floor plans. Brint's father was a contractor. Starting in high school and through his early twenties, when he wasn't working for his father, Brint worked with his grandmother, a well-respected architectural historan, where he learned much about architectural design and gained a healthy respect for period architecture. He then followed in both his father's and grandparent's footsteps, running his own successful design-build firm for fifteen years. He earned his architecture degree at the University of Oregon in Eugene before settling in Portland, where he spent six years working at several well-respected architecture firms before creating Studio Eccos Design.

This experience in architecture combined with his years of hands-on experience with construction gives Brint both a well-honed aesthetic sense and a practical understanding of the buildings he designs. He knows what truly works in the field, allowing him to avoid costly change orders for your project.
